Before I talk about this great summer to fall transitional outfit I have to say: this is my FIRST blog post with my new haircut and color! So as you know I rambled on and on about my haircut/color fears, but I have to say.. I. LOVE. THIS. HAIRCUT. I have had long (and I mean longggggg) hair for about 10 years now and I have been lusting over Julianne Hough’s cute short cut for the last 5. Well, I finally did it! It has been the most amazing change for me. My hair is naturally in between wavy and curly so I literally shower, let it dry and curl a couple of pieces and straighten the underneath – ready in 10 minutes. Check out my Pinterest board specifically for this haircut and color – you’ll love it! I am prepping some great tutorial videos for all your other short-hair girls as I figure out how to style my hair. For all you long-hair girls you aren’t forgotten – see some of my favorite ways to wear my long hair here!
I have been a little MIA on the blog lately (Sorry!!Did you forget what I looked like?) – but that is only because I wanted to show you how other fashionable travelers like Chiara, Jaclyn, and Dawn wear Think Elysian Boutique clothing! Many more interesting Houston bloggers will be on the blog soon to share their travel and style tips with you – don’t miss the Babecation feature segment every Tuesday! :)
Well, this #fashionfriday I wanted to show you how I wear Think Elysian Boutique clothing. This black romper has become a staple in my wardrobe. You literally can’t go wrong with it. You can dress it up with a statement necklace and heels or dress it down with some espadrilles and beaded wrap bracelets! So in Texas it is pretty much H-O-T until October – at least – and sometimes it never cools down! But don’t you think for one second we southern gals don’t love the fall trends and pumpkin spice lattes yall! :) I love finding a great summer to fall transitional outfits like this. I love to pair fall elements, like ankle boots and a wool hat, with summer clothing like this romper! I am loving this wine colored wool hat. The rich color of wine is just perfect for fall! Hello Starbucks, crunchy leaves, and cozy beach bonfires – bring it on!
