I was fortunate enough to travel to Florence, Italy to photograph and beautiful wedding as a part of Mustard Seed Photography (check out the wedding here!). While it was an amazing experience and you can read a little bit about it on the MSP blog – I still would love to go back and experience the city while not working.. and of course with my handsome hubs. ;)

I’ve come across of quite a few AMAZING, affordable rentals in Florence, Italy through Airbnb. Smack dab in the middle of it all! I can just see Caleb and I now, sipping wine on the veranda overlooking the gorgeous views of Italy. What a dream!

From a guest: “Francesco’s apartment really was only a 3-5 minute walk from the train station. Perfect location in town. Easy to walk everywhere or catch a bus at the train station to go across the river. Francesco was super nice and gave us a warm welcome and proper brief upon arrival. He laid out all of the apartment details and gave us some great local tips. We ate a couple of his recommended lunch spots and they were among our favorite meals of the 3 days we spent there. The loft apartment itself was super cute and we really settled in over the 3 days there. We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace and the grocery store across the street was super convenient. The loft was lean and tidy and we loved it. I could definitely see myself returning to Florence in the future to check more things off my list and I would definitely try to stay here again!” – Grant, February 2016

What I’d Wear in Florence, Italy

I feel like Italy is one of the ultimate places for effortless chic style. You don’t want to be overdone and wobbling around on cobble stone streets in heels. Go for a classic look and add some color and pattern.
