Affordable Rentals in Amsterdam + My Travel Style

Affordable Rentals in Amsterdam + What I'd Wear // thinkelysian.com

Amsterdam is such a unique place to visit. I can’t wait to explore the waterway system and bike like local around the city. I have plenty of to-dos on my list thanks to Pinterest. There are so many things to do and see in Amsterdam. I love to stay in Airbnb rentals because they are affordable and they feel to me like they are the closest you can get to experiencing living in the city without actually living there. Never stayed in an Airbnb? No problem! Check out my post Airbnb 101 – it will give you all the information you will need to choosing the right Airbnb for you. If you have any questions feel free to comment or email me! I’d love to help you in any way I can to have a great adventure.

My suggestion for Amsterdam is dressing warm in layers. I very easily get chilly because I am use to hot, humid Texas weather so I will make sure to layer with coats like this gorgeous blush trench coat. Trench coats are so stylish and very versatile. You can wear it with pretty much any outfit – dressed up or dressed down casually. Here are some of my favorite staple pieces for a trip to Amsterdam. Shop the look by clicking on the photo below!

It was a good location and central to a lot of Amsterdam which made it very convenient for me to get around. Everything was clean and as described. I didn’t get to see Lotte much but from our brief interaction she was very nice and super helpful and accommodating, she even helped me out by letting me stay a few extra hours so I could get my laundry done. Would definitely recommend especially for the traveler who’s flying solo.” – Grant, March 2016
